By doing the “International Conference on Nephrology and Therapeutics” we intend to divulge the state of art in renal tract development research. This will include presentations of the most up to date and pioneering research. We hope to create an exiting environment of scientific exchanging and discussion including high profile scientists, nephrologists and students. Ultimately, with this conference we expect to give a step forward to better understand and find new therapies of renal tract diseases.
ACQUIFER, a division of DITABIS AG, is participating the Renaltract Conference in Manchester, UK! The event starts on 12th April and ends on 13th April 2018.
2nd International FishMed Conference on Zebrafish Research
The FishMed2018 is the third of a series of meetings organized by IIMCB that aims to share the most recent knowledge and developments in zebrafish research. The scientific presentations will cover the following topics: organs development and regeneration, neurobiology, genes regulation and disease models. The lectures were also related to technologies, including drug screening, sequencing, imaging and zebrafish husbandry system.
The 2nd International FishMed Conference on Zebrafish Research will be held at Conference Centre of the Nałęcz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering PAN.
ACQUIFER, a division of DITABIS AG, is participating in the 2nd International FishMed Conference on Zebrafish Research in Warsaw, Poland! The event starts on 25th March and ends on 27th March 2018.
Focus on Microscopy
ACQUIFER, a division of DITABIS AG, is participating Focus on Microscopy in Singapore! The event starts on 25th March and ends on 28th March 2018.
Focus on Microscopy 2018 is the continuation of a yearly conference series presenting the latest innovations in optical microscopy and their application in biology, medicine and the material sciences. Key subjects for the conference series are the theory and practice of 3D optical imaging, related 3D image processing, and reporting especially on developments in resolution and imaging modalities. The conference series covers also the rapidly advancing fluorescence labeling techniques for confocal and multi-photon 3D imaging of -live- biological specimens.
5th European Prinzipal Investigator Meeting on Zebrafish Research
The 5th European Zebrafish Principal Investigators Meeting brings together principal investigators working at the forefront of zebrafish research.
The many plenary symposia of general interest and the specialised workshops provide unique opportunities for discussions, networking and creative thinking. Let’s grab this opportunity to highlight recent discoveries, provide perspectives to our community and establish strategic actions to advance science and promote funding.
EZPM 2018 is co-organized by the CIBIO-Centre for Integrative Biology of the University of Trento and the European Society for Fish Models in Biology and Medicine and is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Dolomites, providing an idyllic environment to combine mental stimulation and nature exploration.
The Meeting will take place in Trento (Italy), March 20 to 23, 2018.
Due to X-Mas holidays DITABIS will be closed from the 23rd of December until the first of January 2018.
ZDM10 Annual Conference in San Diego (USA)
ACQUIFER, a division of DITABIS AG, is participating in the ZDM10 annual conference in San Diego, USA! The event starts on 5 August and ends on 8 August.
The ZDM10 (Zebrafish Disease Models Society) Annual Conference will be held Aug. 5-8, 2017 at The Westin San Diego. 2017 is an exciting year for the conference, as it marks our 10th anniversary of the annual ZDM meeting, which is the premier gathering for researchers who use the zebrafish to study human disease.
ZDM meetings recognize the need for relevant animal models to support mechanistic understanding of disease pathology and spur the development of innovative transitional approaches. The ZDM meetings have become an ideal setting to make contact with investigators from around the world who are working in technically demanding and well-funded areas of disease biology.

10th European ZebraFish Meeting
"As the largest professional meeting of 2017 for teleost model users, the conference will cover a large range of topics on zebrafish and other teleost species, from aquaculture to tissue dynamics, from the study of early organogenesis to the application of fish in chemical biology. There will be dedicated workshops to discuss the use of fish species in education, the availability of research resources, and also community sessions to tackle the relevant ethical, financial and organisational questions."

MT-CONNECT – a top-class exhibition premiere
The trade fair’s location of Nuremberg is not only in the heart of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region; the region is also a leading region in medical technology and home to numerous research institutes and manufacturers. The Exhibition Centre Nuremberg is therefore the ideal meeting place for players in supply industries of the medical technology sector, in research and development, in industry, in medicine, and also for associations and political representatives.
MT-CONNECT will not just be a presentation forum, however, but also an event at which the foundation for new networks, promising business relationships and innovations can be laid. A medical technology trade fair that was designed hand in hand with industry professionals and interdisciplinary experts right from the beginning, MT-CONNECT will offer visitors and exhibitors an insight into future developments in the industry as well.

ELMI Meeting 2017 in Dubrovnik
ACQUIFER will participate in the ELMI Meeting in Dubrovnik in May. As with previous meetings, the ELMI 2017 will host a large trade exhibition, aimed to show the latest equipment from the manufacturers of all different kinds of microscopes and microscopy techniques, as well as suppliers of accessories and consumables, preparation tools, image analysis systems, and some of the important publishers in the field. Trade exhibition will be followed by the industrial workshops and technical lectures.
The European Light Microscopy Initiative was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment. Its aim is to promote the quickly developing field of light microscopy as a fundamental research tool for the life sciences and to strengthen the channels of communication between researchers and industry. The annual ELMI meeting, which has been running for the last 13 years at various venues across Europe, has an excellent reputation within the microscopy community, making this meeting a key event in the calendar of hundreds of scientists and developers.
The strength of this meeting lies in the mixture of scientific lectures on state-of-the-art, high-end microscopy combined with “hands-on” workshops and exhibition of the latest technology, organized by the leading companies in the field. In 2017 they will maintain the format and focus on leading edge developments and its implementation to life science.
